Things You Can Make With a Concrete Countertops Mix

Here are a few items that I made with a concrete countertops mix.

The first one on the left are speaker boxes I made with Mark Cheung of Artezens in Redding Connecticut. These little gems have lights and stero speakers inside. They were designed by Roger Bartels Architects in Norwalk Connecticut.

We made 8 of them. The sound is amazing. . Concrete doesn't vibrate and deflects sound with tremendous clarity. They match with an outdoor kitchen.

The bird bath is up in Harwichport Massachusetts on the Cape. This was an experiment. Very heavy, about 250 lbs. It was a challenge to move but it was worth it. Really looks good and the birds love it.

The bench is a Mark Cheung original. The legs are made from old fencing. These pieces were made with the Buddy Rhodes concrete countertops mix.
