Cement Countertops In Norwalk Connecticut

Cement countertops. Interchangaable with the term concrete. Though most people refer to the term concrete. Anyway just so the readers of The Metro Pro wonder who is the man behind the curtain and what, if anything, does he know about all this stuff.

Well, you be the judge. I made this awesome sink and outhouse looking toilet a few years ago with my firend Mark Cheung. We also made the tile you see behind the sink. Actually the sink is in the shower. You walk around the cement sink on either side to take a shower. The sink has 3/4 inch thick glass that goes up to the ceiling. The glass stops all the water from going all over the place.

See the glass squares behind the toilet? Those are glass blocks visible from the living room. Pretty unusual don't you think?

See the slats on the lower part of the toilet base? We built vents using liquid rubber to make those. I made some other neat stuff I'll talk about in another post. All part of artistic cement countertop movement. Oh and the floor is old barn board from a barn in Vermont.
